Infill of voids to an old railway embankment

We were contacted by the Environment Agency to assist with a project to help protect Mill Leese flood storage area. The old railway embankment had been tunnelled on both sides over the years by rabbits and badgers, making the surrounding areas liable to flooding. After the embankment was given the all clear by ecologists and the Environment Agency, we came in with our small towable hand batching plant to begin filling in over 350 linear metres on both sides of the embankment. Filling with our specialist grout to achieve a permeability of a minimum of 1×10-9m/s.
